Local supply scheme of the city of Vienna
The Vienna Business Agency strengthens the local supply function of the small businesses and the retail trade in Vienna, necessary for a city worth living in with subsidies for future-oriented investments. Projects which improve the structure and the competitiveness of an enterprise on a long-term basis and which effectively secure the local supply function of the business are funded.
Target group
Small businesses (see definition in the right column) in selected industries with a valid business licence in Vienna, which have been in existence for at least two years at the time of the submission.
Fundable projects/Basis of rating
* Instruction, training and consultancy costs
* Construction and installation investments
* Quality assurance measures
* Measures for improvements in hygiene and sanitary requirements
* Expenditures for new services
* Software purchase
* Machine and systems purchase
* Installation of an Internet-Broadband connection/creation of a homepage
* Set-up and implementation of a Web-Shop
* The demonstrable costs of the measures (basis of rating) must be at least 4,000 Euros (exc.VAT) and/or at least 4 % of the turnover of the last concluded and accounted financial year.
Funding amounts for standard sectors
The funding for businesses from the standard industries (43 industries) amounts to 10% of the rating. With an investment of over 20,000 Euros, an additional credit that can amount to up to 10% of the fundable costs is possible when diverse quality criteria are fulfilled.
The highest possible funding for businesses in the standard industries is limited to a maximum of 10,000 Euros per business (group) within three years.
The funding of businesses from the focal point industries (food retailers, butchers, bakers, confectioners and food market traders ) is dependent upon the local situation:
* for businesses in the 1st district: 10% of the rating basis max. 10,000 Euro allocated funding per business (group) within three years
* for businesses in the inner belt districts (2-9, 20): 20 % of the rating. 20,000 Euros allocated funding per business (group) within three years
* for businesses in the outer belt districts (10-19, 21-23): 30 % of the rating t basis max. 30,000 Euros allocated funding per business (group) within three years
With an investment of over 20,000.00 Euros an additional credit which can amount to up to 10% of the fundable costs is possible if various quality criteria are fulfilled. The highest possible funding with fulfilment of the requirements concerned amounts to:
* for businesses in district 1: max. 20,000 Euros funding allocation per business (group) within three years
* for businesses in the inner belt districts (2-9, 20): max. 30,000 Euros funding allocation per business (group) within three years
* for businesses in the outer belt districts(10-19, 21-23): max. 40,000 Euros funding allocation per business (group) within three years
If a business in one of the standard or focal point industries mentioned has premises proven to be empty for at least one year, the minimum period (of 2 years) in accordance with point 3c of the directive is not applied. In addition the business receives a reactivation bonus in the amount of the funding calculated for the investment and/or expenditures. The maximum amount is, however, 5,000 Euros.
The reactivation bonus is granted only once in three years.
Type of funding
Cash allowance; this funding is subject to the De-minimis-regulation, according to which a business may only receive a maximum sum of 200,000 Euros in non-notified grants within the current financial year as well as in the previous two financial years (see info. box)
Submission
Until 31.12.2012, but an application has to be submitted before the investment payment begins. Payment will be made at the end of the funded project and subsequent to the presentation of the necessary documentation.
